This camera appears to have been manufactured by Creative for Best Buy so I am grouping it under the Creative products group.

I would like to offer a minor apology to the marketing people of this camera. I have had some difficulty in remembering this is the "RocketFish" camera and not the "RockFish" camera, so you may notice the words mixed up in some places and in the test images.

Given plenty of light this camera performs excellently. Crisp, sharp images and it takes bright light very well.

It does fall short in my lower lighting tests, where I found the image to be a bit fuzzy. In particular, the camera seems to have difficulty holding its auto focus in low light. I ran my test capture sequence a week ago and after putting everything away I found the camera was quite out of focus in the night light shots. So I ran the process through again last night and used the manual focus control found in the software setup.

In my monitor only simulation, you can see the subject but the image is very dark and grainy.

The stand is well designed. It sits firmly on my monitor and works well on a desktop. The camera body will swivel 360 degrees sideways and about 45 degrees vertically.

A good pick if you expect to use it outside or in plenty of light.
